Denise Cruickshank’s studio in Marlay Park Courtyard is a marvellous mini department store with something for everyone to love. The studios black and white theme is a great backdrop to the colourful gifts and treats. The artist’s space offers a range of unique luxury clothing and accessories range made from cotton, linen and wool. Denise’s soft furnishings are hand painted in her quirky decorative style. The ‘i love marlay’ range of baby-grows, kids t-shirts and hankies is ideal for sending to loved ones living abroad.

Posters, paintings, aprons, wands and hats, if you need to grab those perfect presents for family, friends or yourself, pop along and visit Denise in the magical setting of Marlay Park Courtyard.

I grew up in Ballinteer. I have always walked in Marlay Park. I love the fact that Evie Hone lived and worked here. Her plaque outside my studio is framed inside the branches of a beautiful Virginia creeper. Those seasonal colours inspired her stained glass and now they inspire me. Some say the courtyard is haunted by a very glamorous countess. There is so much history here. It’s is the perfect location for me to create and show off my collection of work.
