ID11 is co founded by local artists Yusuf Amod and Jane Cummins. The pair met whilst studying for their BA (hons) Photography at IADT, Dun Laoghaire. Amod has exhibited nationally and is currently working on a book in which he uses archival family photography to piece together the history of his families move from India to South Africa in the early 1900’s. Cummins has recently completed her Photography MFA at Ulster University after which she won the Belfast Exposed Graduate Award Residency and has taken part in several group and solo exhibitions in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Jane’s work has also been published internationally; and has run several self-portrait workshops since finishing her MFA. Both artists work solely with film photography and run film and alternative processing workshops in and around their studio in Marlay Park.
All of their photographs are taken using film camera’s to create beautiful landscape images many of which are taken in the Dublin Mountains and surrounding areas. All images are printed on archival fine art papers and framed in bespoke handmade frames.
Keep an eye out for information on their upcoming workshops in pinhole and alternative process photography.
